The staff at this location were amazing. Reception, bar, and spa teams were helpful and friendly. i found them to be a real credit to the brand. the location by the waterfront was just perfect. access to the city center was a short walk, and the room felt very clean and modern.
The first room we got was supposedly to have a view. the view was sadly only of another building. we insisted it wasn't what we expected, and they gave us a different room. this second room's air conditioning wasn't working very well. It became uncomfortably hot. after complaining, i was offered a fan as a solution.

The breakfast had such a great variety! It included a proper veggie sausage, tasty eggs, and a really good fruit selection. The secure carpark was huge. I loved the lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi with iconic views. We also found complimentary water and bath robes in the room!
The biscuits pack was open already, I think it was not changed from the previous guests. That's just a minor detail though.

The room felt dated, needing some updates. The air conditioning was quite noisy, disrupting sleep. I was charged a hefty fee for parking, despite being a hotel guest.

Acceptable Stay but Issues Existed

comfy roommissing heatingpoorly lit parking
The room was comfy and the breakfast options were good.
The room lacked heating, so it was freezing, especially the bathroom, i found this unacceptable. I did appreciate being able to use the nearby David Lloyd gym, but that shouldn't excuse the lack of heating in my room. The parking area was also poorly lit.
